For Sale

Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him,And He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil. (Proverbs 3:5-7)NASB

How do I give it all? How much is, “in all your ways acknowledge Him?”
Giving it all requires a dirty uniform, sweat, and hard work. Life? It’s more than a game. You won’t find a “continue” button or a “reset.” You get the one chance you’re using at this moment. One go at it, and we waste our time giving our “all” for what? Ourselves? Pushing the limits on our lives, in a fight for time, to withhold our own contentment. What about others? The ones without. The people in need. The generation that we are here for!
You do have a purpose. Look at the ones around you. Satan wants you to be self-righteous. He wants you to think about yourself and look past others. He knows if you do, you’ll never see Christ at work. God works through the lives of your friends, family, and even your enemies to change your life. Make that turn today. Change the next step of your life into a positive one for Christ. Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil and hold fast to what is good. (Romans 12:9)
God is at work in Day Seven. Answering prayers! Taking us into places, the uttermost parts, allowing us to share His Word with music. We just want to thank Him and give glory to His name. If not for Him where would we be?

We are Day Seven

We are Day Seven, a band from Calhoun, GA. Blah, Blah, and Blah!  Every promoter probably reads the same thing over and over.  My band is this…  My band is from… My band is called…  Now days it’s nothing about the true reason we’re to do this ministry.  Words, pictures, and high resolution videos are only the beginning.  Anyone can look good on paper.  Behind the scenes and how we relate to the problem at hand is what makes us who we truly are.  Music without the anointing is merely just music.  Day Seven’s prayer is a heart of unity that hopes to bring a smile across God’s face.  Our heart is to compel them from the highways and byways to be a part of His mighty Kingdom.  No one is to old, young, rich, or poor.  Our job is our job.

Anguish

Everyone is asking about the song titled “Anguish.” A good friend and I wrote this song together. He has recently moved to Macon to attend Mercer and of course desires your prayers in his field choice of “Dr.”
Anguish was written to share our personal hearts and lives. The word anguish means suffering or pain; defeat. DaySevEn has walked many miles and endured numerous trials to ink these words on paper. The first part of the verse says, “Anguish, the shame, lying, the pain… We’ve all failed You. In countless ways… Whoever you are out there…. you can’t seem to grasp the focus of Christ. Know that it’s not your focus that you use. You can’t do it alone. You won’t do it alone. Christ through you will make you more than a conquerer, (Romans 8:37) the head and not the tail, (Deut. 28:13) and most of all change your whole life. (Phil. 3:21)
“Take my life, redirect it to You. Make my life ever-pleasing to You.” This is the “simple” stated chorus. These words hold weight, “WoW,” could you imagine the hearts that this song could change in this broken world, if everyone would just make the chorus their prayer. Crying out to God for Him to take full control, and redirecting our lives to Him. This quote from Francis Chan says alot, “Jesus Christ did not die in order to follow us. He died and rose again so that we could forget everything else and follow Him TO the cross, to true Life.”

God in heaven, thank You for the words of this song. We lift Your name up above all others that You’ve created. Praise Your name! O holy God, touch the readers of this blog and allow Your grace to be ever-pleasing to their lives and the lives around them. Redirect the lives of families across this world with Your mighty love. In Christ name, Amen.
