My name is Tyler Martin, and I play the drums for Day Seven. I’m the youngest member of the band. I was born May 7th, 1992, and live in Calhoun, Ga. Now more than ever before I can honestly say that I live every day for Jesus Christ. He brought me out of hell, and has given me a new life.

 

I used to be so mystified about where my life would take me, but I finally had to realize that it wasn’t up to me to figure out. It was all in His hands. Before I came to this realization, my perplexity lead me to drugs, the drugs lead to anger, and the anger lead to rage. I had so much hate bottled up inside until one day God shined His light on my life.

 

Now, God is using me in a ministry that I am extremely passionate about. If there is one thing that we should do as Christians, it would be to live our lives for Jesus Christ, and keep our minds set on that. Don’t concern yourselves with what people will say or think about you. Don’t hold on to the past. Always keep your mind on God! Like me, if you follow Jesus Christ, you will begin to see your life change. You will begin to love people you don’t even know. God will transform all of your hate and fill your heart with an unbelievable love and passion for life, just like he gave me.
